Biography
Nichelle L. Womble, Esq. obtained her Juris Doctor degree with Summa Cum Laude honors from the Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She has previously served with the Counsel on American Islamic Relations office in Philadelphia where she fought for social justice and equality under the direction of Staff Attorney Timothy Welbeck. She has also interned with the Illinois Prison Project which focuses on Commutations and Clemency Petitions for unfairly incarcerated individuals From Aug 2020-Aug 2021. Her practice areas include; Sports/Business, Civil Rights, Title IX/Student Defense, Criminal, Civil, & Juvenile, Employment, and Administrative Law.
Ms. Womble was inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi in 2020 for ranking in the top 5 of her 3L class. She was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Society of Scholars. She served as the Director of Communications for National BLSA and Director of Administration for the National Bar Association Law Student Division.
Ms. Womble is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia, the State of Florida, and in the Federal Courts of the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. She is also a member of the National Bar Association, National Police Accountability Project, National Lawyers Guild, LGBTQ Bar Association, Broward County Bar Association and Miami-Dade bar Association, Central Florida Association of Women Lawyers, National Association of Women Lawyers, Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, Washington Counsil of Lawyers, and The Bar Association of the District of Columbia, to name a few.
